Show Notes
Combating the tendency to avoid pain by learning to lean into it actually brings long-term benefits both personally and professionally.Oftentimes painful memories from our past can be a huge detriment to our future. Yet, when you have the right perspective, looking back can be so healing and the greatest reminder of how far you have come. Pain is not easy to endure, but it's a radical breeding ground for change.
Brian Bogert learned the wisdom of resiliency through his own early experiences with pain. As a child, he was run over by a truck, and his left arm was detached from his body. Instead of succumbing to suffering because of the injury, Brian embraced the pain necessary to fully recover and flourish with a reattached arm, thanks to his persistent and proactive focus.
Every single high-achieving individual has been stuck, frustrated, unsure, and angry as they start feeling their efforts barely move the needle forward on progress. They know they have much greater potential, yet they fall short of the end zone repeatedly. Brian teaches leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals how to be acutely aware of their environmental conditioning, emotional triggers, and behavioral patterns.
