In 1987, he founded The Selig Capital Group, providing investment banking services to entrepreneurial and environmental clients, and has completed over 200 corporate finance transactions with a cumulative value exceeding $10 billion.

Rand is also the author of "Thriving! How to Create a Healthier, Happier, and More Prosperous Life," focusing on personal growth and development.
