Hospice Chaplain Candi Wuhrman on Grief, Spiritual Transformation, and MOXIE

Chaplain Candi Wuhrman is a Board-Certified Clinical Chaplain, longtime Hospice Chaplain, Spiritual Counselor, and Grief Transformation Coach who is redefining how we experience end-of-life and loss. With more than three decades of transformational spiritual work, she has walked alongside thousands of individuals and families through illness, dying, grief, and profound life transitions. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Candi holds a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology, a Master’s in Jewish Studies and Theology, and a Certificate in Jewish Chaplaincy. As Founder and CEO of Sacred Work with Candi, she leads innovative programs including ReSOULution and Family Healing Intensives, guiding families through diagnosis, death, grief, and beyond with compassion and depth.

As a second-generation Holocaust survivor who experienced childhood losses of her own, Candi understands both personal and inherited grief. Her work addresses the spiritual and intergenerational layers that shape how families heal. Through private chaplaincy, counseling, and coaching, she helps individuals process loss, resolve inner turmoil, and reconnect with their spiritual foundation. In her book, MOXIE: A Hospice Chaplain’s Journey Through Grief, Candi shares stories and insights from decades at the bedside, offering readers a pathway toward resilience, meaning, and spiritual transformation.
