Denise Griffitts Interviews Travis Robertson

Travis Robertson has been entertaining and educating audiences on marketing, business growth, team performance, leadership, and social media for more than a decade.

He also offers a more personal message: Don’t Settle. He believes that too many people go through life living for weekends or vacations.

Travis equips people with the tools and motivation to build lives that impact others and leave a legacy.

He has coached executives with Fortune 500 companies and small start-ups alike. His goal is to help entrepreneurs and small business owners create businesses they don’t want to escape from.

As kids, most of us had dreams and ideas of what our lives would be like. We wanted to be astronauts, athletes, CEOs, teachers, entrepreneurs, authors, or a myriad of other things. But somewhere along the line, we gave up our dreams and traded our passion and excitement for security and predictability. What we never realized was that this exchange also ripped a whole in our soul and left us longing for “what could’ve been.”

We conformed to what others thought was right for our lives. It usually begins in school where we are taught to sit down, shut up, and do things the way we’re instructed. We were trained to conform to the expectation of others.

Now, we are confronted with these unfortunate realities:

  • 55% of workers are dissatisfied with their jobs.
  • 33% of workers think they’ve reached a dead end in their career.
  • 21% of workers are eager to change careers.
  • The average American watches 4.5 hours of television each day.
  • The average American family carries over $8,000 in credit card debt.
  • In America, 50% of marriages will end in divorce.

This is not how life is supposed to be lived! Unfortunately, we are often so close to the situation that we can’t step back and see what changes need to be made in our lives to move us forward. We need an outsider’s perspective and advice.
